BuildBetter launches Meeting Note Upload

Today, BuildBetter added a new feature that allows users to manually create a meeting record in BuildBetter and upload meeting notes that were taken manually. This feature enables users to create and store meeting notes directly in BuildBetter, even when the meeting doesn't occur via a video call. Users can now manage their offline meeting documentation with the same set of tells they do with their online meeting recordings.

Before the Meeting Document Upload feature, users had to manually transcribe their offline meeting notes and could not analyze the meeting in BuildBetter. This meant inconsistencies in team workflow and important information to be excluded from the BuildBetter experience. For instance, a common challenge faced by users was maintaining a unified and searchable record of all meeting notes, both online and offline.

Now, users can directly upload their offline meeting notes to BuildBetter, ensuring all meeting content is centralized and easily accessible. The upload feature allows for tagging and creating signals, making it seamless to integrate offline insights with the existing BuildBetter ecosystem. A typical use case includes a project manager who can now upload notes from a client site visit directly into BuildBetter, enabling the team to access and utilize the information without delay.

To get started, users simply need to log into their BuildBetter account, navigate to the 'Recording' page, and select the 'Upload Meeting Notes' option. From there, users can upload their meeting notes and tag them appropriately for easy retrieval. Users can then manually add participants to the call based on existing People list or creating a new “Person”. Once a new meeting is added, summary and signals will automatically be processed, which could trigger any other actions or workflows that you have (such as sending a message to Slack).
